I ordered a Emerald Burst (black around the edges into emerald green in the centre) double cutaway with Chrome hardware and a tuneomatic bridge and two GSG humbuckers.
It is my main guitar and has been since it arrived in sunny Australia.
The neck is like a baseball bat and feels perfect in my meat mittens, it has the all one piece maple neck.

I was inspired to get one of these guitars because Aaron Barrett from Reel Big Fish had/has one and I loved the look of it, I was going to order one that matched the specs of his guitar but then changed my mind and decided to get one for myself with my spec choices.

I have 2 Graduate guitars and both are a joy to play.
One has the single P90 and the other has 2 GS pick ups. I really love the sound of both. The tonal variety is better, for me, than others I have tried. I now tend to go for active pick ups (Fishman/EMG) while playing through certain amps and profiles plus liking Seymour Duncans as passives. Now I can not get enough of the Gordon Smith passives. They are very warm and handle all styles extremely well. The build of the guitars are just sublime. One is natural and the other with a lovely maple top. I have vowed now to only buy GS guitars from now on. I am so glad they exist and the skill can be seen in those finished guitars.

Very pleased with my custom Graduate. The build quality is excellent and exactly what I’d agreed with Doug at GSG, with them checking I was happy with the colour before proceeding. The attention to detail is very striking, everything done to a high level of quality. Soundwise, spot on, good range across the two pickups. Fully recommend.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with my Graduate 60.
The look, feel and sound are exactly what I wanted; delivered by a team who clearly love what they do and do it beautifully.
Ordering in person at the workshop enabled me to let Doug turn the vision in my head into something even better than I hoped for.
There was no rush and no pressure, just fantastic advice and open straightforward communication throughout the whole process.
This is real art and craft, with the playability and tone the brand is built on, and my goodness these handwound P90’s are amazing!
